Art of the Gecko

The Academy of Natural Sciences has partnered with NEXUS/Foundation for Today’s Art to host an exhibition in conjunction with the Academy’s newest exhibit “Geckos—Tails to Toepads.” Nexus member artists Leah Reynolds, Rebecca Gilbert, Elaine M. Erne, Susan Abrams, Maureen Ciaccio, Tasha Doremus, Mira Gohel and Anastasia Wong will create experimental artwork inspired by these beautiful and unique creatures. The work will be on display at the Academy of Natural Sciences, 1900 Benjamin Franklin Parkway, Philadelphia.

July 25 through September 7, 2009 Opening Friday July 24

NEXUS is located in the Crane Arts Building at 1400 N. American St, Suite 102.
2 blocks north of Girard Ave, between 2nd and 3rd streets.
