Provocateur Pictures Releases Saul Landau’s FIDEL

Saul Landau is an internationally-known author and filmmaker known for the over forty films he has produced on social, political and historical issues. He has won a number of awards including the George Polk Award for Investigative Reporting, and the First Amendment Award, as well as an Emmy for “Paul Jacobs and the Nuclear Gang.” Landau has written over ten books, short stories and poems. He received an Edgar Allen Poe Award for Assassination on Embassy Row, a report on the 1976 murders of Chilean Ambassador Orlando Letelier and his colleague, Ronni Moffitt.

Saul Landau’s historic film FIDEL! is now available on DVD through Provocateur Pictures.

The film is a personal portrait of a political phenomenon and a view of the developments since the revolution (which had taken place just ten years before the film was produced). FIDEL! gives a rare glimpse into everyday life of the Cuban people and its leader.
